Atlas Converting Apprenticeship Scheme

Build your future to build ours

Become a part of Jagenberg Group and unfold your true potential. If you want to make the best out of your talents, we offer the perfect working environment: flat hierarchies, quick decision-making processes, the chance to work abroad, and a dynamic working environment. They go hand in hand with fair salaries and a whole range of corporate benefits. This is how we help you develop as a person and create a future together with us. We believe in our people because they are what makes us unique — and what makes us first place: a leading player in mechanical and plant engineering.

The Atlas Converting Apprenticeship Program is a rigorous 4-year scheme where apprentices are constantly mentored by skilled engineers, with a day-release program for further development of academic knowledge in the local College and continuous assessments to support the successful progress of each apprentice at the Company.

As well as academic support from our talented engineers, our apprentices collaborate in a range of on and off-site activities with various business stake holders. This supports in giving our apprentices a variety of learning experiences.

Upon completion of the scheme, our apprentices will achieve an NVQ (National Vocational Qualification) Level 3 certificate in either Mechanical or Electrical engineering, after which they may be able to specialise further within one of the Company's departments - mechanical or electrical assembly, machine testing, engineering design or service.

"The Atlas Engineering Apprenticeship scheme is an extremely effective resource for the Company to provide a pathway of opportunities for talented individuals. This supports in developing skills so we can ensure we have the right people with the latest expertise to support our customers in the long term." Dave Masterson, Operations Manager.
